We’ve entered into the most wonderful, and the most chaotic, time of the year. A mandatory 14-day quarantine has thrown me behind in my get-it-done schedule for the holidays, and I’ve already been tempted to react out of stress instead of walking in the peace Jesus made ours on that silent night all this fuss is about.
This is such a good reminder for me today. And I pray it encourages your heart too.
Slow down. Be present. Seek Him in the chaos of your moments and you will find Him. He’s waiting there for you.
There. In the midst of the mess. In the stress. In the moments you want to lose it. Take a deep breath and reach for Him. You will find Him there.
“I have heard you say, ‘Come and talk with me.’ And my heart responds, ‘Lord, I’m coming.’” (Psalm 27:8 nlt)
