Good morning! This is not a full-on blog today. I just wanted to send just a quick encouragement:
He fights for us!
We can get weary, especially when we are standing for our miracle for a long time. He encouraged me with these verses this morning, so I wanted to pass them along to you.
Moses told the people, Fear not; stand still (firm, confident, undismayed) and see the salvation of the Lord which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians you have seen today you shall never see again. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest. (Exodus 14:13-14)
I love the way the NLT puts verse 14. It says, “The Lord Himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”
He is fighting for us. We can stand still, firm, confident and undismayed behind Him. We can just stay calm, hiding behind Him as He fights for us, because we know He is WAY bigger than the mountains that we face.
Be encouraged today. Even thought we cannot see it, and even though we may not feel it, we can trust He is fighting for us and working all things together for our good. I am praying for you today….for His strength and peace to rise up in you to guard your heart and protect your mind as you stand still and wait. He is faithful.
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust! (Psalm 91:1-2)
Thank you…..
