Red sthlipperths and secrets…
Mikel took my daughter Christmas shopping for me when she was 3 years old and made sure to tell her it was a secret. But she immediately came in and told me, “I have a secret! We got you panths. And red sthlipperths too!” She didn’t quite get the concept of keeping a secret!
5 pounds from comfortable!
I lost about 60 pounds four years ago, and I’ve done a pretty good job keeping it off. But alas, I am now about 5 pounds away from comfortable. My clothes are fitting a lot tighter these days. It could be from ALL that food yesterday….but I blame the .50 cent cones at McDonald’s this summer.

Seasons…They are a-changin’
We have four seasons where I live. Almost winter, winter, STILL winter, and construction! My favorite season is fall….I love football, jeans and hoodies, bonfires and s’mores, and the kids go back to school! (Mwuahahaha!) But, alas, my favorite season is being pushed out by winter. We have snow now. And it’s cold!
